On Saturday, May 14, Dr. Whitman joined one of her patients in running the VA Winery Half-Marathon. Leesburg Family & Cosmetic Dentistry sponsored the race, setting up a booth and giving out goodie bags of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss to participants. Office staff also handed out wine wipes and gave oral hygiene tips on keeping away wine stains to keep teeth healthy and white.
Dr. Whitman and her team also promoted GLO professional in-office whitening and GLO on-the-go whitening to participants interested in whitening their teeth. The at-home kits are particularly beneficial because they can be used at home or on-the-go as the name suggests, and are easy and safe to apply.
Many patients who are now working from home and involved in Zoom meetings like to use the on-the-go whitening as a refresher 10 minutes before they jump on their calls to have a fresh and bright smile for the camera.
Although it was pouring down rain at the start of the event, the runners finished through all the muddy and gravelly hills and trails. Overall, it was a fun and successful event despite the weather, and lovely to see one of Leesburg Family & Cosmetic Dentistry’s patients and meet other runners and potentially new patients of the practice.
